Daily Duties at Keane Federal Systems:

• Works with systems such as JWICS, SIPRNET and NIPRNET tools, including JPAS and ACAVS and databases used to support security activities on a day to day basis. • Manages a heavy caseload of new cases, extensions, priorities and backlog cases received from OPM. • Coordinates with the Field Supervisor/Expeditor on how many cases an investigator can receive. • Assists in all insider threat investigations within the Counterintelligence Division. • Researches and develops new Insider threat detection measures, person of interest monitoring and reporting, working closely with the Insider Threat Working Group to provide evidence and electronic data in support of the Insider Threat Working Group. • Provides technical assistance and support to staff in a variety of matters relating to the application of planning systems and management programs to meet mission requirements. • Reviews and analyzes potential identifiable documents by conducting manual and electronic searches of the FBI’s Central Records System. • Disseminates information from FBI files in response to name check requests received from federal agencies. • Submits name checks to the FBI’s National Name Check Program for processing. • Provides written responses according to established timelines as to the status of performed name checks. • Analyzes relevant and derogatory information that may be disseminated to requesting agency.
