Daily Duties at Wayfair:

Lead the global marketing and corporate communications department, overseeing internal and external outreach including consumer, business and trade media in North America, the U.K., Australia and Germany. Provide high-level strategic planning and tactical execution supporting global web sites marketing more than 4.5 million retail products. Responsibilities include overseeing national and international media relations (social, online and traditional), branding, issues/crisis management, event planning, media training, CEO coaching, executive articles and presentations, pre-IPO investor relations, as well as acting as a company spokesperson. Also supervise integrated, digital marketing initiatives involving SEO, email marketing, online promotions and advertising, landing pages, celebrity line creation, and Pinterest boards, in addition to cause-related efforts. Manage a team of six staffers (full-time and part-time), and two external agencies.
