• Provided psychosocial support to families of children seen in the Hematology/Oncology Department • Provided educational information and support to children seen in the Hematology/Oncology Department, attended IEP’s, gave classroom presentations, helped transition a child’s return to school • Liaison for the Medical Team • Planed and implemented a weekly therapy group for Hematology/Oncology inpatients • Worked as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all the Hematology/Oncology patients were understanding and coping with their illness
