Daily Duties at Ucla Orofacial Pain Clinic:

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team utilizing the Biopsychosocial model of health care • Evaluate and assess the main psychosocial factors that impact the clinic patients • Provide written reports and oral recommendations to the physicians regarding psychosocial issues that may impact treatment planning • Reports include a detailed clinical interview, Mini MSE, MMPI-2, BDI, BAI, VAS and a compilation of questionnaires that assess pain beliefs and behaviors and activities of daily functioning • Provide feedback to the patients regarding the assessment • Attend weekly grand rounds where each patient to be seen that day in clinic is discussed • One hour weekly individual supervision
