Daily Duties at Various:
Held various positions within the health care/medical industry from Receptionist/Secretary, to Appointment Coordinator, to Collections Billing Representative, to Manager of Billing and Collections, to Accounts Receivable Manager, within various specialty of medical practices, including chiropractic treatment, hand and microvascular surgery, plastic surgery, and sports rehabilitation/medicine. Complimented as a consultant with contracts, negotiations for medical providers, implementing methods of office management. Acquired expertise in Workers Compensation and No-fault rules, regulations, billing and collections, as well as proficiency with major medical, Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO and third party billing. Conducted negotiations with insurance carriers, attorneys and patients. Gained expertise with Medical Manager, HNA, ADS, Handiworks and Keiser Weiss programs. An expansive career spanning the disciplines of planning, administration, operations, finance and management. Recruited and directed the activities of project teams and internal staffs, including professional, supervisory and support personnel. Contributed to the development of operating budgets, monitoring actual versus projected performance. Established and conducted training programs for groups and individuals. Formulated and executed policies and procedures.
