Consulted on complex files and handled all guidance to field claim adjusters.Communicated with SCU and Nurse case managers offering advice on specific cases of exposure, defenses on high exposure complex claims. Moniterd high exposure claims for trends and, within team developed action plans for consistent claim handeling procedures. Participated as an instructor in seminars,confrences and workshops within and outside the claims department. Provided on site supervision of files knowledge and areas of responsibility at the division and or branch office level. Negotiated settlements and recomendations on files in home office and or field. Exercised a high level of autonomy in handling a full range of claim files including high exposure and more complex cases. Thorough knowledge of claims procedures and departments.
