Biological discovery - Led a group seeking to identify novel apoptosis-inducing activity (human breast cancer target cells) found in a cell culture conditioned media. - Large scale conditioned media production from a human T cell line to support an academic collaboration (Univ of Pennsylvania) - Immunology: managed tissue culture component of the group. Production and purification of 6 different recombinantly-expressed chimeric IgGs in quantities and quality sufficient for testing in murine autoimmunity models. - SBIR grant writing: mumerous grants were prepared in collaboration with academic partners. - Contributor to strategy and direction of the biological discovery programs. - Contributor to advancement of the biologicals patent portfolio: technical adviser, proof reader and strategist. - Radiation safety officer for 2 different facilities. - Mentoring of junior scientists and technicians.
