Responsible for operation of a 5000 member engineering society, its educational foundation, and for-profit subsidiary, including organizational development, finance and governance, human resources, education and professional development, training programs and materials, certification and standard-setting activities, technical information services, conferences and events, membership, and marketing/electronic and print communications and publications including journals, technical handbooks, multiple web sites, technical listserve and social networking sites. Also responsible for working with governmental agencies on homeland security and compliance issues, as public affairs representative for media relations, and as corporate legal counsel on matters including governance, audit, taxation, ethics, corporate liability, antitrust, estate planning, contracts, SOX, 990 Issues, human resources, and more. Represent association at standard setting bodies and with ATF, DHS, the United Nations, and other agencies at the state, national, and international levels.
