Daily Duties at Port Ludlow Associates:
Daily cash and credit card reconciliation of on-line bank statements against daily business activity reports generated by night auditor. Reported any variances to President and business unit manager. Upon completion daily activity report was emailed to all managers and the major investor. Updated monthly closing worksheets with Sage Timberline data and sales data from daily reports. Posted all closing reports, reconciled banak statements. Ran financial statements for managerial review. Reviewed income statements for budget variances. Made corrections if any required by management. Ran final end of month income statements by unit, golf course, marina, hoterl, real estate. Bound statements for presentation. Updated monthly income statement forecasts to include current actual financial activity and its effect on projected future income and expenses. Reviewd all AP reports, decided which vendors to a pay and how much to pay. Older invoices and fuel for the Marina took priority. Reconciled AP cash needs with existing cash balances and adjusted accordingly. Created 2012 budget templates by saving 2011 budgets as 2012 and then emailing them to department managers to be updated with their 2012 revenues and expenses. Updated 2012 budget templates based upon managers feedback, including all subsidiary budgets, payroll, golf memberships, marina moorage activity, hotel visits, restaurant meals serves, houss sold by John L Scott. Final budgets with subsidiary budgets reveiwed for accuracy, printed and bound for annual managers/investor budget meeting. Advise managers on 2012 budget changes based upon unbudgeted 2011 revenues or expenses recorded in current period.
