Daily Duties at The Peace Museum:
Direct non-profit arts organization. Build partnerships with peace and social justice organizations and individual artists to curate and promote four major exhibitions yearly and other in-gallery events. Supervise staff of 7, volunteer pool of hundreds. Write successful grant applications to foundations, corporations, city and state government agencies. Produce fund raising events. Serve as Museum media spokesman. Previously, as Public Relations Director, I wrote press releases, placed articles in all major local media outlets/publications. I administered, and hosted group tours of the Museum. I also administered a series of 14 traveling exhibitions, including bookings in over 30 US cities, tours of Japan, England, and Austria. I also assisted in curating/promoting in-gallery exhibits and programs.
