Daily Duties at Merck And Company:
I was recruited over to Merck from Wyeth. Managed a large geography, targeting 125 Hematologists/Oncologists in Oregon, Montana and Wyoming. Responsible for the direct sale of the companies Oncology portfolio. Provided technical and administration information on the companies products. Responsible for new and existing account development. Effectively launch new products. Build relationships with physicians and key thought leaders throughout the territory. Analyze customers needs and interest. Gather data on Marketing trends. Achieve or exceed sales objectives within the assigned territory. Stay relevant on Oncology products through medical journal readings. Manage local speakers ( MD's who speak for companies drugs). Provide team leadership ( Journal Clubs, technology lead)
