Daily Duties at Creighton University:

Work closely with business area management and staff on processes for new Help Desk applications, products or service, LAN support. Document and manage coordination and resolution of network problems. Assist users in troubleshooting and resolving PC hardware and software issues. Travel to remote locations as needed to maintain PCs, cabling, notebooks, etc. Maintain PC hardware and software functions, including inventory, warranty, maintenance, compliance, evaluation, recommendation, testing, installing, upgrading, security, licenses. Work with the Associate Director for OLAT to establish and maintain service quality standards. Ensure that service quality standards are communicated and adhered to by all service desk personnel. Manage the service desk coverage schedule for all locations. Manage workload in terms of quantity, quality, and speed using performance tools from centralized ticketing system. Perform tier two system maintenance including software and hardware installation and repair. Coach and help develop junior technicians in terms of skills acquisition and customer service experience. Assist and or facilitate system distribution and inventory management.
