Daily Duties at Burdines:
My responsibilities were ensuring that a proper level of stock is maintained by pulling weekly item tracker to view hot seeling items,making sure merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable shelf placement. This includes setup, plan-o-gram execution, as well as the stocking. fronting, facing, and rotating of the manufacturer’s products. setting and example in a high level of customer service, maintaining prototype standards for department, training new associates and setting up staff sceheudls for 8 associates, ensuring timely processing of receipts, price changes, and markdowns, communicating successes and opportunities to Central merchants and vendors Audits are performed regularly
