 Medically underwrite and independently evaluate applications for nursing homes.  Oversee that the area procedures are in compliance with industry, corporate, and departmental policies.  Managed profitable books of business worth up to $5 million comprised of East Coast customers.  Analyzed Loss Data for each new submission and renewal business.  Responsible for supervising and training the Underwriter Technician.  Organized, maintained, and coordinated the Pennsylvania Catastrophe Fund.
