Sci Work Values

Daily Duties at Sci:

Managed 25 production planners. These planners were responsible for kitting, expediting materials and schedule adherences generated by MRP demands. I coordinated and implemented off-site production facilities (local and Mexico). I had to make sure one of the planners were on call at night and weekends since we operated on a 24/7 schedule. I made sure the PMs had all the orders loaded properly in our MRP system. I communciated to the PMs when schedules would be slipping and put in place corrective actions to ensure it didnt happen again. I meet with suppliers to engage in VMI (vendor managed inventory) to cut down on lead times. I implemented JIT (just in time) so suppliers could react to our fast changing needs. Managed 25 planners and buyers. These people were direct reports to me.
