Write, design, and present 15-minute demonstrations of Internet search tools for Examiners in all branches (topics have included Google and Scirus, Wikipedia and information literacy, in-house tools and resources, and library procedures and services) Design and maintain instructional materials and take part in instruction of new searchers in the PTO Searcher Training Academy, and of new Patent Examiners in the Patent Training Academy Perform detailed reference interviews with Patent Examiners in Business Methods (business and finance) and mechanical arts to ascertain search needs Search DIALOG and other commercial databases, Internet, and other electronic resources Perform ready reference for clients, colleagues, and occasionally for the public
