• Conduct risk assessment and develop audit plans for financial statement reviews, identifying domestic and international operating segments with material transactions; supervise four globally located auditors. • Recommended improvements in financial statement preparation and operational controls; audited travel and entertainment expenses, formalizing policies and procedures and discontinuing reimbursements through A/P. • Examined the revenue recognition processes, recommending changes to ensure accurate cutoffs. • Facilitate the execution of audit planning, fieldwork, and report writing for operational audits; communicate audit results through presentations and management reporting. • Gained the respect and appreciation of key business partners and financial personnel through vital relationship development; entrusted to advise management on adapting processes to comply with internal control standards. • Trained and coached staff through work paper reviews; aided external auditors on interim and year-end audits.
