Daily Duties at Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum:

• Responsible for the creation of an advertising plan and a media matrix to track all expenditures for corresponding media outlets used by the Museum. • Worked in conjunction with the Social Media Representative to attract new members to the museum’s Web site, create and cultivate a growing interest in the Museum’s activities, special events and historical re-enactments. • Coordinated with the Museum’s graphic designer to employ conceptual, visual and creative thinking in copy content and ad layout the Museum used in print advertising. • Write press releases for all Museum special events, interactive events, historical re-enactments and speaker series. • Responsible for keeping the executive director informed of search trends, ways to adjust the public perception of historic sites and the opportunities available to maximize the museum’s visibility. • Functioned as a Museum docent giving tours of the Museum to K -12 students visiting the Museum on class field trips. • Assist the Museum Executive Director with intern supervision and direction as needed; responsible for office functions when she is absent.
