Daily Duties at Allied Technology Group, Inc:
As a Customer Support Specialist supporting the SMART Team for the U.S. Department of State, I supported domestic offices in deploying a new generation of software that enables the end-user to more effectively manage cables as well as record e-mails. I introduced the end-user to the program, installed and configured the software, and provided on-site training as well as troubleshooting. As Program Manager, I was directly in charge a team which supported over 75,000 users. This team is made up of contractors from various companies, seven (7) of whom reported directly to me. One duty was being in charge of coordinating the installation of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) hardware (Precise Biometric Card Readers) and software (Entrust and SafeNet) on over 100,000 workstations in over 50 Bureaus, field offices, Posts, and Embassies within the Department of State.
