Daily Duties at Rinke Noonan, Ltd.:

In addition to law practice daily tasks described under the associate position, I've undertaken significant responsibility in areas of firm management. Generate new business through active marketing: article writing, public speaking engagements, participation on industry trade association's boards(elected member of board of directors for Builders Association of Minnesota; President and member of board of directors for Suburban Northwest Builders Association; Member of legislative and education committees for the Central Minnesota Builders Association). Manage and provide top tier legal services to business clients (manage paraprofessional staff of four paralegals and two legal secretaries to deliver legal services is a cost effective and efficient manner.) Legal counsel philosophy: To truly understand client's business model and industry in order to approach issues from a holistic perspective. Industry knowledge, including the regulatory framework that governs the industry, is essential to provide proactive advice to understand, manage, allocate and mitigate risk. Understanding a client's unique business model is necessary to enable the presentation of viable options and approaches to resolving legal issues in a manner consistent with business objectives and risk aversion. Assist firm operations as member of executive committee. Elected member of 5 member executive committee that is responsible for day to day business operations of law firm including budget forecasting, capital expenditure planning, cash flow management, personnel matters, and vendor relations. Executive committee reports to and makes recommendation to 20 member Board of Directors comprising of all shareholders in the firm.
