Daily Duties at Christus Santa Rosa Health System:
• Responsible for the leadership and management of the Radiology Department at Santa Rosa Hospital and Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital, Santa Rosa Children’s Clinic, Santa Rosa Outpatient Imaging Center, Santa Rosa Alamo Heights Imaging Center and Santa Rosa Alamo Heights Hospital – 80 FTE’s • Responsible for capital and operational budgets; Capital budget items approved for Diagnostic Imaging in FY 2011 totaled $1.1 million • Serve as one of the Administrators on call for the main campus in the region • Work with the current Radiologist group on a daily basis to ensure excellent quality imaging and to develop professional and stable relationships with referring physicians and supporting associates. • Responsible for policy and procedure development, • Ensures compliance with Federal, State and JCAHO Standards; no citations or violations have been received during my tenure at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa. • Coordinate and oversee the hospital radiation safety program. • Educate and develop current departmental leadership associates and Imaging associates in the Radiology department to understand how their roles and actions contribute to the organization. • Participate in devising systems and processes to improve the overall function of the organization. • Ensures that services are integrated into the primary functions of the hospital and that those services are coordinated and integrated not only within the department but also between and among all other departments. • Responsible for all performance improvement activities and monitoring.
