Daily Duties at Newtrend (China) Ltd. (Hong Kong):
This was almost a sister company to Trendset, LLC. As a liaison to the CEO of Alkor North America, I was responsible for the management and overview of all manufacturing in Southern China. Review PO specifications and technicalities of all compliance to Euro standards, and the communication and interpretation of those specifications to all vendor/suppliers. Maintained strong relationships with key factories with daily communication. Hired a full time China office manager in Dongguan, China to evaluate and qualify factories to needs and specifications needed. Skype evenings, China time in order to support the infrastructure overseas and keep production and sample request on track.
