Daily Duties at Trendset,Llc:

As an Executive and partner in the company I had a variety of daily roles. Proprietary Design, Market Research & analysis, Business Development, Sales, Sourcing and Procurement. Design work was done on a day to day basis and new designs submitted to key buyers in Divisions for lighting, every day candle accessories, sconces, Home accents. Also opened up Seasonal categories in Fall, Halloween and Christmas. Both categories competitive, but maintained a steady growth. All this approval of designs needed close attention to sculpting, mold making and casting/ color to a finished product. Daily Management with vendors in Asia was imperative to the success of these growing programs and ensuring buyer confidence in delivery times promised, and advertising deadlines met at retail. Weekly P&L, for AR & AP analysis done to keep company on track. Supervision of office manager. and keeping priorities in line with client demands and requests was key to running the office in an efficient manner. Profit analysis and profit margins per PO, reviewed constantly to be sure margins established for the company were up held, and over head managed. Flew to meeting Nationally and attended trade show in LA, and across the country. Negotiated contracts with Sales Rep and kept a breath of daily incoming information from Pier 1 Imports and their Project Development. I would meet personally the actually buyers at Domestic Headquarters to create a strong foundation, and maintain and support the Reps efforts to expand our opportunities and product mix. All categories were worth $2Million in sales and growing fast.
