-Underwrote risk factors using medical terminology, medical history, lab work, and consumer reports on new business and existing applications to classify risk and determine premium. - Examined application forms, inspection reports and reviewed Attending Physician’s Statements - Applied ratings to ensure safe and profitable distribution of risks, using rate books, tables, and MIB and ICD code books -Evaluated re-consideration of ratings, reinstatements, added benefits, and changes to existing business.
