Daily Duties at Vertis Communications:

Direct daily operations of the Laser department; create production schedules to meet customer commitments, coordinate production across three shifts, and resolve quality and technical issues. Manage staff and effect resolution to departmental conflict. Worked with vendors to ensure machine uptime, and communicate status to upper management and sales. Ensure all production meets or exceeds customer quality expectations. Define and document SOP’S and work instructions to achieve continuous process improvement and ensure ISO, EMS, and OSHA compliance. Handle staff development including hiring, training, motivating, reviewing, disciplining, and providing ongoing leadership for all laser room staff.
