Daily Duties at Doc Data New England:

Managed ISO 9000 quality control systems to include audits, training, calibration, and corrective actions in response to product issues and customer complaints. Management representative responsible for reporting system status and compliance to company president and directors, and working with clients to identify root cause issues and develop corrective actions. Tested CDs and cassettes during and after production for sound quality, and color accuracy and screen printing clarity of customer labeling. Inspected packaging to ensure compliance with customer requirements. I was a one man show and had no permanent team members; used personnel from other departments who were trained to audit against work instructions and standards to assist with periodic audits. Brought process audits, calibrations, department reviews, and reporting current for a quality control system which had been without effective leadership for eight months prior to my hiring.

What they like about Doc Data New England:

You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
