LEAD STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT COORDINATOR/ NORTHWESTERN ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE Oklahoma City, OK Advanced Academics/DeVry University August 2008 - Present • Planner – Proposed Business Plan for Career Development Center for High School Students online. Worked with school counselors to formulate life plan for high school students and contributor for the Student Retention Training Manual. Schedule, plan, & prepare for meetings and presentations on effective study skills, time management, leadership, customer service and client retention strategies • Customer Service – Improved student retention rate by tracking progress of online students through program and counsels student regarding personal and/or academic issues; refers to other sources of counseling as needed. Constant customer contact for all accounts on regular basis, perform consistent follow-up to prospective client leads, communicate regularly with current accounts to ensure goals and needs are meet. • Supervisor/Organizer- Leader for four full-time employees and responsible for hiring, training and professional development. Team had the highest student retention rate (74.5%) for three consecutive semesters and had the highest enrollment rate for two consecutive years compared to other state virtual high schools in Advanced Academics. Organized i-connect, a virtual student organization for student leaders and countless student and staff activities.
