Daily Duties at Computer Arts Inc.:
Manage annual hourly contract commitments between Computer Arts and its clients. Manage hiring and training of technical resources in the company. Research and recommend server hardware specs based on client needs. Research and recommend backup strategies based on client needs. Perform file and data base restorations. Manage database files in Microsoft SQL. Manage data security and access. Ability to work and perform with little interaction from management. Ability to pick up and learn new technology on the job. Manage support calls on a 24x7x365 basis. Manage requests from email and phone. Create and provide technology strategy plans for clients. Provide solutions to technical problems and concerns of clients. Manage Microsoft Windows Servers. Manage Active Directory groups. Manage Microsoft Exchange Mail servers Install and repurpose desktops and server equipment. Diagnose errors in networking, software and other equipment Maintain logs and diagrams of networks. Install and maintain VPNs from clients to Computer Arts and to the State of Idaho. Install and maintain security firewalls and routers and switches. Install and maintain NAS and SAN environments. Log and decipher internet traffic through keeping automated logs.
