Daily Duties at Confidential Electronics Mfg. Co.:
• Develop/Verify Data-link related functionality in VHDL for FPGA based Active Vibration Control System for Helicopter. Make Recommendations for Improving Ethernet Link Performance. Layer’s 2-3 Protocol Stack Development and Specification for Custom Hardware Control. (Sub 200uS loop) using Xilinx ISE/ Mentor Modelsim tools for Synthesis, Testbench, Simulation, Place and Route and Verification, and C++ for Development Perform RTCA-DO-160 EMC Testing of prototype hardware, data-mine results, and write up recommendations for design improvement. Make Recommendations for Design Improvement relating to FPGA aspects of designs. Perform Vulnerability Analysis and Test of Networked Control Systems using Smartbits, and other tools. Write recommendations for network security procedures for Networked Industrial Vibration Control Device – Applied until tool vendor patched Xilinx Micro-Blaze stack code. Review and Make Recommendations for Design Improvement relating to FPGA / POE circuits. Contribute to DO-254 Process Effort.
