Daily Duties at Saunders Safety Services (S 3):
As the president and lead technical consultant I provide EH&S managment services to large client organizations. I develop and maintain, as required, the necessary EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the environmental, health, and safety of site personnel, visitors and contractors and continual improvement in EHS related activities and programs. I'm responsible for the development of EHS training programs and ensuring employees receive training on EHS related topics. I represent clients to outside agencies, media and auditors on EHS related matters and maintains regulatory documentation and records. I review and assist in the development of new facilities and processes to ensure optimum EHS practices are integrated as part of the change and co-ordinate the efforts of and site personnel through the development of critical documentation and tools to support risk assessments, safe work practices and adverse event / near miss reporting & investigation. I ensure effective resolution of noncompliance events, when they occur, including determination of root causes, corrective and preventive actions
