Daily Duties at Wells Fargo:

NOTE: There were significant breaks in this contract, from 05/01 - 01/02 and again from 03/02 - 07/02! Worked in Marketing Retention for Small Business Cash Management. Provided reporting on programs, retention, conversion/acquisition, cross-sell. Used SQL Navigator, Access 97/2000 and PL/SQL to access data warehouses. Multiple large warehouses required SQL programming to overcome data disparity issues in joining tables. Reports were updated regularly, from simple daily updates to more involved presentations to senior management bi-weekly. Produced automated reporting scripts to reduce time spent culling data. Scripted a call database in MS Access to create form-driven interface for call center agents. Gap was a family leave situation.

What they like about Wells Fargo:

A hiring company that offers alternative approaches to pay, performance bonuses, and/or equity in the firm is very attractive to you. You're generally less interested in working for an organization offering only traditional, salary-based compensation, one with limited opportunity to acquire equity in the firm, or one that does not actively promote skill development. In addition, you are more likely to choose a company that offers a variety of internal career options, with defined career paths. You view the learning of new skills and development of your expertise as key to your career advancement. These aspects of an organization may become even more important to you as you progress in your field, and are especially critical if you change career or occupation.
