Daily Duties at National City Bank:
• Conducted stress tests of all applications before they were deployed to end-users. This initiative was responsible for the drastic reduction of overall post-implementation problems. Used LoadRunner/WinRunner to emulate end-user production environment where multiple simulated users interact with server applications. Used Performance Monitor to determine server load and usage. Reported analyzed results to group managers for review & acceptance.
• Recommended and implemented changes to several applications based on stress test results and diagnostics that cut maintenance costs of several projects.
• Worked with the team of developers responsible for successfully keeping the National City Web Site on the Gomez list (Online ranking of banks and brokerages by various criteria). Maintained and updated existing web site using HTML, ASP and JavaScript with an Oracle back-end.
• Increased performance of web-based applications database systems by continuously purging expired computerized queries from the storage bank.
