Daily Duties at Giant Food Stores:
My job responsibilities as a part-time associate were to check out customers and help with front- end duties. I also would help change the price tags when needed. I then became full-time as the Donut Fryer. My job responsibilities were to make, fry and decorate the donuts. I also was in charge of keeping my work area cleaned and filled with supplies. I also assisted customers, fulfilled special orders, and strived to achieve and maintain sales and operational goals.
What they like about Giant Food Stores:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
