Daily Duties at Antioch Community Dev. Corp.:

Prepare month end closing journal entries, Bank Rec.'s, Financial Statements and management Reports; Monitor and reconcile GL accounts and reviewing cash flow projections; Prepare and present Financial Reports including P & L statements, trial balance and various analytical reports; Oversee Budget preparation and Forecast and analyze variances; Review all budgets for projects and review with managers; Initiate and maintain internal controls; Initiate new controls & procedures for all accounting activities; Introduce and integrate new technology for firm wide accounting system; Oversee billing cycles for daily, weekly, monthly and annual activities; Managing all A/R and A/P activities; Monitor aging accounts and collection procedures when appropriate; Reduce costs by implementing cost savings programs, Manage timekeeping and payroll for approximately 25 employees, Interface with the banks, external auditors and ADP payroll services.
