Daily Duties at Drs C3 Systems / Drs Electronic Systems:

Managed integrated software and hardware development programs totaling $60M+. Performed annual strategic planning and budgeting with U.S. Navy customers. Programs involved development of advance display software and middleware for the Aegis Display System used in modern U.S. Navy warships. Additional programs involved the introduction of new display technologies to U.S. Navy command and control environment, such as horizontal "table" displays with touch-screens. These new technologies were transitioned into a full military specification development for Aegis ships, to be applied to undersea warfare operations on a program known as the Integrated Tactical Command and Control Console (ITC3). Managed programs formed a portfolio of tactical display software and hardware. Maintenance of this portfolio involved strategic planning, budgeting, marketing, proposal management and development, program execution, financial forecasting and reporting, and recurring product deliveries, including software and middleware upgrades.
