Daily Duties at University Of Texas At Arlington:
• Design, 3D modeling and simulation of membrane based piezoresistive pressure sensor using FEA (tool used: CoventorWare™) • Fabrication of three different MEMS devices in class 100 clean room environment (CMOS compatible fabrication) • Testing/Characterization of the MEMS pressure sensors using Load cell measurement and Electrical probe station • Study of variation of piezoresistivity vs film thickness for thin film nichrome (8nm to 32nm) • Gauge factor calculation of thin film nichrome (16nm, 24nm and 32nm) using mechanical testing and simulation using CoventorWare™ tool • Development and deposition of CNT/polyimide nanocomposites using spin coat method • Achieving conductivity in the nanocomposites throughout the wafer after deposition and curing • Patterning of CNT/polyimide nanocomposites using combination of both RIE and liftoff technique • Packaging of MEMS sensors using polyimides (encapsulation technologies)
