Daily Duties at Coca Cola Enterprises:
As the MidSouth Division Key Account Sales Manager responsible for profitable sales goal attainment in Super D Drugs,Ikes Deep Discount, USA Drugs, Freds Inc., Walgreens, Target, K&B Drugs, Rite-Aid Drugs, Piggly Wiggly, Super Kmart, Exxon TigerMart, Dodge's Convenience Stores. I functioned as a successful experienced facilitator, customer account manager and team-builder who identified opportunity gaps to apply solutions, as I built sales, profits, trust, inspiration, excitement and cohesiveness by utilizing my professional education, experience, customer co-operation and the valuable assistance of my associates. I acted as the MidSouth's liaison with the Walgreens and Target HQ National Accounts Teams. Together, we organized and executed a MidSouth Division promotional calendar. I helped to identify last year's features and to create the current year's sales that would overlap those past accomplishments. I had to be guided by Cost of Goods to be mindful of profitability and revenue goals. Volume lift and rate reduction had to be delicately considered to reach sales goals. It was my task to input into our system and maintain each item's everyday and promotional pricing that would properly appear on customer invoices. I investigated and resolved any price/payment discrepancies within our system and the customer's. I disseminated information to the field as I facilitated CCE's profitable sales within the customers' systems and our's. For my associates, I was the source of information for these customers. I presented customer info, dealt with issues and presented in CCE market management field meetings. I accompanied CCE field management in the market as we made sales calls to store and district management. I made quarterly trips to Target and Walgreens HQ to present my own calendar of Midsouth CCE features. I periodically updated these customers of their sales progress. I served as the customer's Hostess Brands situation-resolver; I was their CCE primary contact and that of my associates when it came to these customers. I enhanced customer relationships with approved business entertainment. In a District Manager capacity, I performed the same basic customer management tasks with on-premise, education and prestige venue customers. I managed/supervised a sales team of eleven account salespersons and business development reps. I also managed a team of 20+ grocery merchandisers.
