Category Advisor Working closely with buyer(s) and replenishment team in setting and implementing processes to achieve set goals for category. Extensive use of Retail Link reporting to gather sales data for analysis. Store level reporting, forecasting, historical data basing are all used in measuring daily performance as well as planning for effective promotions. Building relationships with suppliers involved in category to help achieve category budget objectives. Key focus on store in-stock, efficient and effective promotional planning, limiting mark-downs and keeping on task to achieve category budget objectives. Space Planning Utilizing JDA Space Planning software, SKU rationalization, demographics and category insight to develop planograms that would be most effective for achieving category goals. Working with limited space, item performance was analyzed for determining facings and modular location. For each relay, a traiting database was created to insure all stores were properly set to receive the assigned assortment. Store visits to verify modular set and performance models. Marketing / Merchandising Involved in the development of efficient and 'display ready' case-pack and promotional vehicles. Reducing time needed at store level to stock shelves or set event promotion. Expanding standard sales-sheet information to the company website for broader view to all product offering.
