Daily Duties at Bae Systems:

Led and managed simultaneous projects/programs across domestic and international sites with accountability for a team of 10 – 20 associates, project planning, budgeting, timelines and schedules. Interface with vendors, stakeholders and end user customers. Served as a backup resource to other project managers as required. • Handled over 300 complete initiations to completion projects on multiple sites. Projects ranged from $50,000 to $5,000,000. Projects included design, security and other hardware, interface with site customers. Completion was successfully improved. • Efforts of specialized management resulted in improved accomplishments of projects (all phases) on a timely basis. Included: researched problems, created corrections on equipment, design, and personnel levels. Savings of time and dollars (estimated 20% of each project). • Improvements included areas were project planning, budgetary management, personnel and schedule management, interface with vendors, intermediary and end user customer. Over 100 projects were planned, developed with teaming efforts (sub contractors). • Support numerous Project Managers and sites around the United States and territories. Within this support the role of personnel management, training and deployment, to ensure that material and equipment was on site and provide back up support for the project manager due to illness or absence. This effort resulted in a 50% improvement over previous problems in these areas. Allowed zero disturbance in any project timeline • Revitalized a major security maintenance service program to a military branch in terms of improved service to the Homeland Security Efforts and threat/assets protection program. Service time reduced to 72 hours from three weeks. • Maintenance program hands on effort and a site-by-site basis developed the program to a 90% efficiency rating from 45% within three years. Designed an ACCESS Database to identify successes, improvement and track overall information about the problem(s) encountered. Information available real time. • Identified/developed functional core competencies of technicians and initiated risk assessments that allowed for the redeployment of resources and improved equipment/material delivery that enhanced the needs of the business.
