Daily Duties at Nc Division Of Facility Services, Construction Section:
Reviewed plans and specifications for new and existing constructions, such as Hospitals, Nursing homes and Ambulatory Surgical Centers, to insure compliance with the state and federal regulations for physical plant and life safety standard. Cross trained in the areas of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Architectural Engineering. • Performed on site inspection of new facilities and renovation or additions to existing facilities to determine compliance with approved plans and specifications. • Promoted building code with special emphasis on National Electric Code/NFPA. • Reviewed and utilized client documentation during inspection process (drawings, studies, maintenance logs, etc.). • Developed cost estimates for facilities replacement costs and corrective measures.
