Daily Duties at Te Connectivity (Formerly Adc Telecom):

Provided technical expertise for global company specializing in design and manufacture of products to connect and protect flow of power and data with annual revenue of $12B+. Worked on complex and diverse customer issues/projects (AT&T as customer) and analyzed data to evaluate identifiable factors and develop solutions. As subject matter expert (SME), responsibilities included creating firm price quotes (FPQs) based on AT&T customer documentation associated with equipment, power and cabling requirements for telecom infrastructure. Provided a high level understanding of detail engineering services (design, develop, configure, analyze) for engineering, furnish and installation (EFI) of transport equipment (layers 0,1,2 and 3) in central office networks. Created and maintained project schedules, monitored progress, and led/participated in status meetings. Supervised lower-level engineers and delivered training on generally defined practices/policies and routine troubleshooting methods.  Project Engineer/Manager: Served as technical lead for multiple concurrent projects, facilitating projects to a team of 4 engineers, managing all aspects of telecom equipment deployment from: customer relationship, project schedule, cost/budget and identifying scope by applying SDLC methodologies. - Directed projects from inception to post implementation and held full responsibility for asset and material management, program administration, scheduling, and manufacturing - Document, track, assess and communicate project status, job cost and financials to ensure targets are achieved along with interfacing with customers to ensure quality and satisfaction.
