Daily Duties at Bank Of America:

• Handled incoming legal correspondence and scheduled hearings for a portfolio of litigated home loans. - Knowledge of mortgage banking, familarity with RESPA, FFDCPA, GLBA, and federal and state laws related to foreclosure and bankruptcy processes. - Assisted in all aspects of disccovery, including document management and control, witness/custodian interviews, and updating the managing attorney on case status, trial preparation, trial support and case management using a variety of litigation managment software systems, AS400, LPS, MERS. Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure (state and federal), Rules of Court and local Court rules. Knowledge of mortgage banking, familiarity with RESPA, FFDCPA, GLBA, and federal and state laws related to foreclosure and bankruptcy processes. - Knowledge of Mortgages, Assignments of Mortgage, Chain of Title on Mortgage, and Deeds. • Coordinated witness attendance with outside attorney network and acted as a bank representative when necessary for trials, mediations or depositions. • Responsible for court-related decision responsibilities, which required independent judgment and excellent communication skills. • Professional communication capabilities, interpretation of legal documents, and procedures for examination. Assisted with preparation of legal documents. • Required a thorough knowledge civil procedure, the department's or business unit's functional operations along with a working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and banking and financial/accounting practices. • Ability to sort through the complexities of issues to make the best possible decision in the least amount of time; with ability to separate critical facts from less important information.
