Daily Duties at School Of Nursing, University Of Washington:
Develop, implement, and support new and existing IT functions and services. Implement user-friendly and user-centered technology. Provide guidance and direction to staff of 14. Develop, implement, and revise strategic technology plan. Align IT resources with organizational goals and vision. Manage annual budget of $1.4 million. Oversee ongoing technology projects. Uphold organizational security standards. Evaluate, recruit, hire, and terminate staff. Manage purchasing and inventory of hardware and software. Manage infrastructure, web, media, education technology, and help desk departments. Handle tier 2 and 3 issues requiring escalated support.
