Daily Duties at South Bay Community Services:

• Directing day-to-day operations of the Mental Health Program and implementing programmatic and administrative policies and procedures in order to attain program goals and objectives. • Making programmatic as well as administrative decisions in accordance with the agency/program goals and objectives. Serves as primary liaison between the agency and other agencies of the mental health continuum • Developing a high performing team of professional clinicians who are client focused, strength based and work with a multicultural diverse populations • Develop and deliver presentations for small to large groups using Microsoft Office tools and applications • Managing multiple projects concurrently • Provide masterful understanding of Mental Health assessments, diagnosis and treatment of clients with an understanding of current evidence based practices, concepts, theories, interventions, practices, to provide mental health services under the contractual guidelines of San Diego County HHS Behavior Health contracts. - Proficiently submitted reports and related San Diego County EPSDT Contracts, achieving required outcomes evaluation and reporting criteria. Comprehensive and sophisticated clinical expertise in community based mental health settings. • Ability to work effectively with multi-cultural backgrounds presenting various attitudes and value systems and; assume full responsibilities for counseling of individuals presenting any and all types of complex psychological, social, and personal problems. • Excellent group facilitation skills and experience; knowledge and understanding of psychiatric diagnoses. Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to work with minimal supervision; and ability to handle multiple demands in a calm, controlled manner • Coordinates service integration and collaboration between programs and other agencies and governmental bodies. • Represents the agency through participating in and speaking to professional groups, other community organizations, and attending provider meetings, etc.
