Daily Duties at Waste Management Inc.:
Implemented driver efficiency program to improve productivity. Increased driver efficiency within 6 months from 4.25 units per hour to 5.49 per hour. Increase of 77.41%. Increase and reduced drivers routes based on business needs. Created driver route maps for operations and dispatch with driver break points. Help drivers sequence routing to improve efficiency. Reduced total driver incidents by 75% within four year period through continued safety training. Performed driver safety observations to ensure safety program followed. Ensure all employees trained on Maricopa County idling ordinance. Meeting with customers in order to meet needs and resolve issues. Planning/ scheduling of personnel and equipment for Events. (Fiesta Bowl, NASCAR, Waste Management Open, Arabian Horse Show) Provide support of personnel and equipment for other Waste Management Sites within Arizona region. Hiring and discipline of employees within company guidelines.
