Daily Duties at Ashland University:

I was responsible for supporting the computers, printers, and other classroom equipment (extron, crestron, projectors, overhead cameras, i.e.), three branch campuses, three prisons classrooms, and two main campus. I was also responsible for re-imaging 20-30 computer labs and over one hundred classrooms. I also was responsible to programming of extron media control devices. Was responsible for meeting the request and problems daily ticket Que regularly exceeded 20-30 tickets, Problems ranged from installing new software to challenging technical problems involving systems engineering skills for debugging memory. I was also responsible for documentation of the stepped needed to solve any problem that I completed. I was also given management responsibility to see that tasked were completed on time and correctly. While I was there I was the only Apple Mac technician. I also worked on Windows XP pro, Windows 7, and Red Hat Linux file, print, and printer Servers. Was also responsible for writing automation scripts to speed up the process of managing the day to day operation of the department.
