Daily Duties at Irg, Inc:

• Strategic marketing. Grew a nationwide vendor base of more than 250, created all marketing collateral used with customers and developed new business through tradeshow marketing—taking the business from nothing to more than $5M in five years. • New business development. Identified and targeted niche markets that contributed millions annually—a network consisting of 15 national clients in multiple markets. Applied an aggressive feet-on-the-street approach to developing new customers and leveraging existing relationships to drive revenue—an innovative approach that was ahead of the market at the time and did much to jumpstart the business. • Major account management. Recruited, screened, hired and managed a team of 15 employees, including field sales representatives and customer care staff charged with growing and maintain relationships in the U.S. and Canada—where five accounts represented 65% of total revenue. • Compensation planning. Devised and implemented unique methods of reward and recognition designed to “incentivize” performance across all major areas of the business—efforts that drove consistent double-digit sales growth in good and bad markets. • Web strategy. Developed and led the implementation of a first-of-its-kind website serving 1,000 registered users designed to provide a venue to remarket equipment—an initiative that created a lucrative secondary market with unlikely buyers.
