Daily Duties at Financial Operations Analyst:
I reported directly to the Senior Director of Finance. Did budget analysis, P&L reviews, month-end and year-end close. Thirteen department managers reported directly to me. I would obtain information from these managers on a daily basis about their respective departments. Every Tuesday I held a meeting discussing the previous week's numbers. In this meeting we would also discuss departmental variances and where they should as far as their monthly and yearly goals. I worked on an excel-based program called REALM ( Resource Allocation Management.
