Manager Cold Weather Assets Warehouse, Training Allowance Pool (TAP), Camp Kinser, Japan 3rd Supply Battalion Safety Supervisor, Camp Kinser •Managed SASSY operations for Cold Weather Assets for 3rd Marine Division. •Supervised 45 Marines for storage operations. •Controlled inventory, shipping and receiving of more than 2 million dollars in essential military cold weather equipment. •Developed storage alternatives for over run and functionality of storage space. •Set transportation schedules and monitored all in-bound and out-bound traffic for shipping and receiving points. •Managed inventory teams for warehouse operations, initiated follow-ups and inspections regarding shortages. •Managed pre-war assets in bulk storage containing millions of dollars in key supply assets. •Supervised use of military material handling equipment with a superior safety record. •Conducted safety inspections in conjunction with command objectives, OSHA and DOT standards. Identified safety issues, initiated changes and conducted classes to ensure compliance. •Interviewed, investigated in the line of duty/misconduct incidents involving possible safety violations or injuries. Obtained statements, conducted follow-up, characterized incident and submitted conclusive reports to command staff. •Managed inventory of NTPS Ships reporting to NAHA Port for reload and updating of military assets afloat. Inventory Manger, Production Supervisor, MCLB Barstow Ca. •Supervised and directed inventory of more than One Billion Dollar in military assets. Initiated MIMMS release documents for accounts receivable of Marine Corps equipment. Supervised receiving stations for incoming trucking and railcar deliveries. •Directed high point counts, spot checks and shelf life inventory procedures. Identified material shortages and initiated NSN restocks. •Supervised inventory staff of 25 civilians and 19 permanent personnel coupled with large scale inventory teams for wall to wall inventory of stocks. Verified results and issued recounts as required or needed. •Reassigned to Marine Corps Warehousing School, MCLB, Barstow, as Senior Instructor. •Developed lesson plans, set student schedules, supervised more than 600 students in an academic setting and a team of 12 Marine Corps Instructors. •Assigned to Marine Corps Development Team for redevelopment of Mobile Tactical Supply Teams and re-write of the Marine Corps Order for warehouse operations, issue points, security protocols for logistics, transportation, airlift operations and railcar. •Set GS schedules, evaluated production operations for REVAMP military hard line equipment. Conducted safety checks, updated manuals, supervised QA for production line operations. •Monitored safety issues, enforced regulations regarding use of PPE and conducted investigations into violations resulting in injury. Supply Logistics Chief for 235th Marine Amphibious Brigade •Operations Chief for 235 MAB logistics for Desert Shield/Storm. Managed over 300 military personnel in the performance of inventory, issue point, shipping and receiving and storage operations. •Set in-bound and out-bound freight schedules, air cargo and port distribution schedules. Monitored military assets for shipping and receiving points. •Responsible for high threat security of logistics operations, set schedules convoy operations, supply line delivery and personnel safety in a high threat environment. •Assigned secondary duty as the Unit Safety Officer with responsibility of key safety operations of field tactical equipment, MHE equipment and air delivery teams. Maintained a Zero loss rate of manpower due to injury related safety issues. •Wrote and delivered Point Papers regarding safety programs, personnel management, completed investigations for line of duty misconduct investigations. •Conducted inventory audits to support supply functions and activities. Group Safety Officer, Education and Training Development, 2d Force Service Support Group, Camp Lejeune, NC •Drafted safety plans, reviewed and inspected unit level safety operations with the industrial, warehousing, transportation and logistics and prepared safety reports for the Commanding General. •Maintained a 3 year accident free status regarding safety injuries through careful monitoring, strong education of personnel and commanders. •Set Inspector General schedules for safety and education protocols. Aided IG Team is information awareness, policy contents, results of all investigations and related reports.
