Daily Duties at Worldspan Services, Ltd.,:

Established and managed the first Worldspan office in Romania. Conducted all negotiations and coordination for the procurement of office space, equipment, furniture, the hiring of the management and staff, sales, marketing and customer support staff as well as associated actions to establish Worldspan as a legal entity in Romania. Established a country wide Sales Program, increased Worldspan’s market share of Computer Reservation System service to travel agencies, and developed customer training program. Organized the Grand Opening of the office attended by representatives from all airlines serving Bucharest, Romanian Travel Agencies, local press and the involvement of US Embassy and Romanian Government Officials. Coordinated with Worldspan European Headquarters in London in the further development and improvement of an internal customer account management program prior to Worldspan implementation throughout all European Branch Offices. Established and coordinated personnel staffing requirements for the new office with the Human Resource Office in London, recruited and hired staff for the new office as well as the coordination of employee benefits, banking and individual personal development plans for each employee.
